In this tranquil paradise, the historic façade and entrance hall of the old country house have been preserved to honour the traditional way of life and architecture of the Sierra de Gata. Even inside the hotel, right up to your room, you will always feel the connection with nature, thanks to the sustainable and regional materials of slate, oak, granite, stone and cork. In your room window, the surrounding pasture is framed … so that you never have to miss the tranquil aura of the place where you are.

The garden will turn into one of your favourite spots at Habitat Cigüeña Negra: Here you will find two stone terraces from which you can contemplate the olive grove amidst the native vegetation, a stone pool overlooking the pond and the meadow. From time to time a cow or a sheep might pass by, as there is also livestock on the extensive grounds. The property also has a barbecue restaurant and a gourmet shop where you can try regional products of the highest quality and take a little holiday feeling home with you. The hotel team will also be happy to invite you on a guided tour of the olive groves and show you how their own olive oil is produced here.

But one of the most beautiful places on the property is without a doubt the tree bar, which surrounds the trunk of a beautiful, hundred-year-old cork oak. You won’t want to miss the sunset from here ... You will also discover an incredible number of stars in one of the clearest skies in Europe.

The in-house hammam spa with sauna, three different water pools and an aromatherapy hall also offers you the immediate feel-good factor. After a day of relaxation, you will feel reborn - just like the willow in spring.
