Vumba Agroturismo

Vumba Agroturismo is a rural farm where you will find a unique and authentic experience in the countryside of central Portugal. This agritourism is divided into two guest houses, The Alembic and The Lizard House, and three elegant suites, Bue Maria, La Gorongoza and Beira. Each accommodation has been carefully designed to provide comfort and privacy, integrating harmoniously with the natural surroundings.

In the grounds of the estate is a large swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden, perfect for relaxing during the bathing season, which runs from May 15 to September 30. The property also features several paths and trails that invite you to explore the picturesque landscape, as well as five idyllic ponds that add a touch of serenity to the ambiance.

The owners, a family dedicated to keeping local traditions alive, follow ancient techniques and show great concern for protecting the ecosystem. Guests can visit the cheese and yogurt factory and experience cheese production. In addition, there is the opportunity to be a shepherd for a day, pick mushrooms and olives according to the season, and enjoy electric bike rides through the fields. The trails through the surrounding valleys and forests are perfect for hiking and biking.

In the mornings, you can pick fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast, as well as organic vegetables and fruits from the garden to use in your meals. Vumba is an ideal place for adults to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while children enjoy a great adventure running free and interacting with the farm animals.
