Mer Nature

This spacious former fisherman's house is located just 30 metres from the sea in the fishing village of Port-en-Bessin in Normandy.

The house has been recently renovated but retains much the original wood and stone materials. It is divided into three spacious floors; on the ground floor there is an entrance with a bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer and towels. On the first floor there is a living area with a kitchen equipped with an oven, dishwasher, cooking utensils and coffee maker among others. The stylish flat has large windows that let in natural light and minimalist but modern furnishings that provide discreet luxury. The dining room is furnished with half-height tables and stools, and there are 3 comfortable chairs in the other corner of the kitchen for lounging. There is no sofa, TV or washing machine, although washing and drying service can be ordered for an extra charge.

The family room is located in the attic on the third floor. Natural light makes this a bright Nordic-style room. The windows have blackout blinds in case you want to reduce the light. There is a 160x200 double bed and a 90x190 single bed, ideal for a family or a small group. Regretfully there is no wardrobe or commode, but there is a clothes rack for storing clothes. There is free Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers throughout the flat. If you want to enjoy the sea breeze with a nice glass of wine, you can sit outside on the terrace with a small table and chairs.

Nearby, you can discover historical sites such as the Normandy WWII landing beaches or indulge in various culinary specialties such as seafood or local cheeses. In short, a stay at the Mer Nature means experiencing the authentic fishing life of Normandy in a stylish and refined setting.
