O Baixa House é um edifício histórico inicialmente construído logo após o terremoto de Lisboa em 1755. A sua recente restauração cuidada deu-lhe um toque modernista. A atmosfera é acolhedora com um design de interiores que inclui artesanato português variado. Cada apartamento tem o nome de um parque de Lisboa que também inspira o seu design.
O Baixa House oferece um novo e único tipo de alojamento: apartamentos com um serviço que inclui limpeza diária, pequeno almoço e serviço permanente para qualquer coisa que o viajante desejar. Os apartamentos podem ser alugados por dia, pois são limpos diariamente. Nas estadias mais longas, a roupa de cama e as toalhas são mudadas uma vez por semana. A cozinha está perfeitamente equipada.

Very nice place directly iin the old town of Lisboa and you can reach alot by walking. Also the tram and metro station is nearby. The apartment was big with beautiful interior. Everything was well organised as check-in with many detailed information about the city etc. Breakfast was perfekt, in your own room.The house is old (wooden floor) and in the middle of everything that means it is quite noisy but for us no problem as we used ear plugs for the night.

Fantastic location, beautiful decor, modern conveniences and best of all, you are treated like you are staying in a boutique hotel. Fresh bread, yogurts, cheese and cake delivered daily, cleaning daily, refrigerater stocked with esssentials, and even more. Fresh flowers were even replaced midweek. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful; Juan introduced us to the apartment, demonstrated appliances and sat down to explain the city with helpful hints and a map. The owner was very helpful too; she was onsight daily working and one can tell that they take great pride in the experience offered at Baixa.

We loved the spaciousness, and interesting decor of 4B Campo Grande. Whilst this apartment was perfect for downtown, it was also an easy walk to Chiado, Bairro Alto and Principe Real. For most of the other interesting areas, the bus & tram stop were 20m away. The breakfast was generous and of good quality. Reception staff were very helpful in the lead up to the holiday and during our stay. Our only negative would be the noise of the street - the trams, cars and late night revellers. Closing all the shutters did help but it was warm during the first days of our stay and the coolers ( no AC) weren't really adequate.

Wir waren über Silvester im Baixa-House. Schon der telefonische Kontakt am Flughafen war sehr nett und wir wurden dann im Baixa House von Danielle äußerst freundlich begrüßt. Wir haben uns in unserem Appartment sofort wohl gefühlt, es ist modern und gemütlich eingerichtet, alles sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail. Ein tolles Frühstück morgens mit frischem Brot, Joghurt, Kuchen und Saft machte den Start in den Tag perfekt. Die Lage ist super zentral und trotzdem (wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hat) leiser als erwartet. Vieles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Wir können das Baixa House wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We spent 3 nights in Lisbon at Baixa House. What a wonderful hotel. A personal greeting and explanation of the a new city makes for a GREAT WELCOME - and we received this from Sonia. We loved Lisbon, but we also loved returning "home" each day - the space was beautifully decorated - in a comfy vintage manner, the refrigerator stocked with "homemade" goodies each day, and it felt clean and well cared for - and was cleaned daily. We loved relaxing with fresh baked bread, yoghurt, and coffee each morning. Whenever we had a question or need - be it a cab, laundry service or a suggestion in the city - it was quickly attended to. The location was great! The only note to be aware of is the lack of air conditioning - this was only a problem because it is July and was quite hot outside. The trade off was well worth it - as we had such a lovely stay - but one should be warned that this could be an issue. We loved this hotel!
Perfect Start to our Holiday

This apt was beyond all expectations. Both before our arrival and during our stay we received exceptional service. The breakfasts were fantastic (the BEST yogurt ever!), the apt spacious, clean, well equipped and perfectly located! Thanks to some great recommendations we enjoyed wonderful meals out, and sightseeing. You can walk or grab a tram (make sure you take tram 28) or bus anywhere. It is an ideal location to be able to sightseeing all over the city. The rooms are clean, have great comfy beds and the bathroom and shower are pristine. There was wifi, a shop next door with two lovely men who were more than happy to chat with us, help us with the door, etc. It was nice to duck in late at night if you wanted to just pick up some snacks. (Abit higher priced than the grocery store a few blocks away, but very convenient.) I can not recommend it highly enough. I will definately be back to Lisbon and will book here immediately without even giving a glance to any other accommodations. I promise you will not be disappointed.

The Baixa House was a very good alternative to a traditional hotel. We had a very nice 1BR apartment which had all of the necessities we needed. The daily breakfast that is delivered each day was a real treat, including fresh bread brought each morning, and was a great way to start the day. The furniture was a bit worn, although perfectly functional. Having a washer and dryer was super helpful, especially since the days we visited the temperature was 31-33 degrees so we we able to have clean clothes!! The staff was warm and welcoming and had lots of very useful suggestions about the city.
