Casa De Indias

The Boutique Hotel Casa de Indias is a property that opened its doors in 2020 and looks like a small palace. It is located in the centre of Puerto de Santa Maria, a rather quiet area of Spain. Cesar and Lola, the hosts, are very welcoming from the first minute and are happy to give you unbeatable recommendations for traditional bars, tascas, bodegas, taverns and local restaurants nearby. You can also take a guided tour of the hotel's beautiful courtyard, which has a collection of artworks ranging from paintings to sculptures and photographs.

There are a total of 9 spacious, tastefully decorated suites, family rooms, double rooms and a 3-bedroom flat. The suites have a very special modern design, in a building with more than 200 years of history. Each room is fully equipped and stands out with its high wooden beamed ceilings. The rooms have a private bathroom as well as a flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, a coffee maker and a kettle. The beds guarantee the highest quality of sleep and are covered with 100% cotton bed linen. This beautiful accommodation retains its essence, and its owners have a perfect idea of a fair price and quality balance. There is only one thing to say about the breakfast at Casa de Indias, and that is that you should not miss it.

El Puerto de Santa Maria is a bright and open village at the mouth of the Guadalete River, with a pleasant Mediterranean climate and a beautiful historic centre. It is very pleasant to walk through its streets, visit the market and ideal for watching a flamenco show or a bullfight - all in true Andalusian style. Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera are within walking distance, as are La Puntilla and Valdelagrana beaches, which are 1.9 km and 5 km from the accommodation respectively.

The only downside is parking, as there are not so many parking spots in front of the hotel and sometimes you have to park a few minutes away from the hotel – however, it is doable and certainly worth the nerve for this wonderful accommodation.
