The Cow Dalbury

‘The Cow Dalbury’ is an old English pub, situated in the Derbyshire countryside, which was restored into a boutique hotel in 2017. This boutique hotel has 12 guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. The rooms all have cozy King size beds. On the ground floor, all have access to a terrace, which is bathed in the summer by the sun. Although the boutique hotel has been restored, it has retained its 19th century style. The rooms are very traditional and you can find old wooden ornaments in whichever direction you look. 

Guests are able to enjoy typical English dishes using locally sourced food and drinks in its on-site restaurant and bar. A varied breakfast is served each morning in the on-site restaurant. There is also an extensive lunch and dinner menu as well as plenty of homemade cakes. This boutique hotel offers the perfect experience for couples who want to relax in the tranquility of the English countryside. Families and pets are also welcome at the hotel. Free Wi-Fi can be found throughout the property.

The Cow is located close to the small village of Dalbury Lees, near the city of Derby. From here, the stunning Peak District Nature Park is easily reached by car. The Peak District has many hiking and biking trails and is the perfect playground for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. On request, you can also play at the Kedleston Golf Club or do some bird watching. You can also visit the popular markets in the nearby towns and cities as well as the historic houses and castles in the region.
