The hotel was envisioned by the owners' late great grandfather in 1958 and continues to be run by the humble Moraschinelli family today. The interiors, decorated with complementing colours and modern artworks, have earned the hotel the 'BigSEE Interior Design Award' and the whole, incomparable experience of staying in the hotel has won it the 'European Property Award'.
